It's Detective Time
I have the need of acquiring the Social Security Number of someone not related to me (for legal reasons), but most of the web sites I've found online that promise this kind of service have looked quite sketchy.
Please leave a comment and give me a recommendation as to which services you've used and the reliability of the data.

I used to work for a law firm, and we would need info like that for legal reasons too. If you're working with a lawyer, see if they have a private investigator that can locate it for you. If not, try to find one locally. That is who we always used to get them.

go to accurint.com, very reasonable, like less than $7.00 for the info.

I do work in a law office and frankly, I hope you are unsuccessful in getting someone's SSN. First of all, it's an invasion of privacy; secondly, it's tantamount to making their identification available to the low-lifes of this world; and thirdly, and most importantly, if you need that kind of information, why are you not doing so through a reputable legal source, i.e., get an attorney to do the leg work.
