I was just down in Telluride, Colorado for the last week...trust fund little fuckers enjoying their Pathfinders and well-stocked ATM's, thanks to mom and dad. Bullshit. Anyway, I called mom from out there, checking in and stuff, she had some really good news for me.

I applied for the MCAD competitive scholarship...not thinking anything would come out of it...I was awarded the big one...$36,000 in total...that's $9,000 a year to start! I'm blown away! I got the big one! They award this amount to two kids out of five hundred applicants! In fact, it was only 'sposed to be $32,000...eight grand a year...but, for some reason they awarded me an extra four grand. I'm so excited to get things rolling there. I still can't believe it.
