Friends of High Five,

The High Five site has enjoyed three years as a pacesetter for design on the Web. We've earned a lot of respect, and we've enjoyed the process. As my personal pet project, I have put over $50,000 of my own money into the site in the last 18 months, and i'm sorry to say that at this time it looks like I will have to discontinue publication. I really don't have the time or money to find sponsors, create good enough content, and make the whole thing run as a business. As much as I'd like to see it keep going, I'm afraid we are weeks away from closing the site. If anyone is interested in taking on the continued publication of the site, please tell me. I'm interested in any ideas you might have, but I'm no longer willing to support the site financially. I'm concerned about the quality of content, and I am working too hard on other projects to give it the attention it deserves.
