Reader responses from 12/17/01 postings: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Shelley Powers http://www.burningbird.net/weblog/ I would have responded at MetaFilter, but I don't have an account and the site isn't allowing new accounts. Thank you for giving the "scripting news awards" the disrepect it's due. It would be great to have some kind of open nomination process that would allow many of us to learn about new and exciting weblogs around the world -- ones that don't show in weblogs.com, or in the "traditional" blogrolling lists. Ones that definitely never show in Winer's little solar system. Instead, we get another episode of Winervision. Again, thanks for your response. I was hoping at least one of you from the list would say "take this nomination and shove it!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dave Aiello http://www.ctdata.com/ Just wanted to point out that we posted an article on CTDATA.com that is critical of the Scripting News Awards. We found fault with many of the same issues that you did. http://www.ctdata.com/articles/2001/12/17/1018236.shtml I cannot post this to MetaTalk because they are not accepting new user registrations.
