I live in Mpls. & have considerable experience with this problem. a) Don't lock your doors if you park outside and precipitation is likely. b) Usually it's not water in the lock that freezes but water that gets in between the door and the door fitting -- wipe dry after car washes and spray a lubricant and/or drying agent on the door surfaces that meet the car surfaces, especially the rubber. c) Keep large spray bottle of Prestone spray de-icer in office and at home -- if doors are frozen, spray liberally on all four sides of door in crack where door meets rest of car and spray into lock, then wait awhile for de-icer to melt the ice; door should open without great force. Open easiest one from outside. Once you get one door open, it's easier to open the others from inside.
