Vertical search startup looking for Java programmers

We are an early-stage NYC-based vertical search company seeking
full-time Java programmers. We are also willing to consider expert Perl
or Python developers.

Requirements:

    * Strong expertise in Java, including core libraries and servlets.
    * Hands-on experience building scalable, high-traffic Java servlet
      applications.
    * Deep knowledge of regular expressions, preferably in Perl.
    * Expertise with database design and production MySQL.
    * Significant development experience using Linux.
    * Enthusiasm for working in a small company environment.
    * Experience working on a distributed development team with high
      expectations for independent work.
    * Fluency in English.

Qualifications should include:

    * Some experience with search engine technology.
    * Experience with Nutch and/or Lucene a big plus.
    * Other important technologies: JavaScript, PHP, Drupal, Subversion,
      Bugzilla, Apache 2, Debian, Gentoo.
