There are currently over thirty of us representing a diverse mix of companies, so it should be a great group. For the first meeting, we would like to spend some time getting to know each other and hearing about everyone's background in usability and what you all would like to get out of the group. Then, we'd like to have a round table discussion about selected usability-related topics. Below is a list of topics. Please select three that you'd like to discuss in our first meeting. Also, feel free to suggest something that you'd like to talk about if you don't see it on the list. Before the meeting, we'll let you know what will be on the agenda...and possibly send some articles related to the chosen topics as well. The first meeting will be held on Tuesday April 3rd 7:00pm - 9:00pm. We have not yet chosen a place to hold the meeting. The location will depend on the number of people attending. Most likely, it will be in a coffee shop in the SOHO area. (If you have any suggestions for a meeting place, send them our way). Please RSVP to this email no later than Friday March 23rd. We're really looking forward to kicking this off and we hope to see you April 3rd! Sincerely, Suzy Sharpe & Julie Rabin User Research Planners NOVO **If you have any co-workers or friends interested in joining this SIG, please feel free to forward them this email..** *If you are not interested in joining this SIG, please reply to this email and I'll remove you from the list.* Possible Topics for Discussion: - Tips and techniques for successful moderating - Usability-related challenges you've encountered.
